Another example of my custom work! This ketubah features a papercut picturing a cherry tree rising from below; below, to the left, the roots stretch out and encompass the couples monogram; above in the branches, three birds are visible. The background is deep purple shading into deep rose and pink. 18×24. ************ All my ketubahs and wedding certificates are custom made. I do the background watercolor (ink wash) painting, the papercut design and cutting, and the calligraphy myself. I can work with any text you give me, in any language, and I love to include images and symbols that are special to you in the papercut or calligraphic design. I will work with you to develop your dream ketubah or wedding certificate. Also, if you happen to be in the NYC area, I would be happy to meet with you to show you some examples of my work. My ketubahs and wedding certificates are not prints: they are actual original paintings onto which I write, in calligraphy, your text. This is different from printed ketubahs and certificates you see that are personalized simply by adding your names, place, dates into a blank slot. Please convo me if you are interested in custom artwork of this kind. You can see other samples of my work on my website (http://www.jerise.com).

Although the kitchen is probably my favorite part of the house, for whatever reason, its the living room that I always dream of decorating. Living in the city and never having a ton of cash on hand, you wouldnt be surprised to know that my current living room looks nothing like any of these, but a girl can dream, right? This summer Ive made it my goal to finally achieve the living room of my dreams. However, Im a little overwhelmed at where to begin. Im not an interiors person by any stretch of the imagination, so you could definitely say Im somewhat of a newbie in this whole home decor department. There are so many different types of styles that I love, its going to be hard to choose! Here are 7 amazing living rooms that caught my eye. Im hoping to draw some inspiration from all of them to create a style that is uniquely my own.
