Inspired by the seminal mid-century classic, my grasshopper lamp is a bit sleeker and more angular, and is rendered in solid brass. It is similar in scale to mid century versions, so it pairs well with low seating – perfect for your Mid Century Sofa or Danish lounge chair! • Spun brass cone shade • Shade swivels up and down, and rotates right or left • Locks in place with a cast iron tensioning lever finished in white • Heavy gauge solid brass riser, legs, and feet. • Vintage-style twisted grey cloth covered cord with a quality polarized repro plug. • Cord mounted foot switch • 48 tall, 14 wide, 16 deep. The BrassHopper accepts standard household bulbs, 40 watt maximum. I recommend LED bulbs as they run cooler. LED is also a good choice if you need more light output. A light bulb is not included with the order unless you are located in California (California orders ship with a CFL bulb.)
